Sabby Sagall was born in 1937 in London to Russian Jewish parents, refugees from Nazi Europe. He received a BA in Philosophy at King's College London and an MSc in Political Sociology at the London School of Economics. He was the editor ofViews Quarterly Magazineand has been a regular contributor toSocialist ReviewandSocialist Worker. He is a former Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of East London. He is the author ofFinal Solutions: Human Nature, Capitalism and Genocide(Pluto Press, London, 2013) andMusic and Capitalism: Melody, Harmony and Rhythm in the Modern World(Palgrave Macmillan, New York, 2021).
